Ildefonso Acevedo has more than 30 years of experience in asset valuation and monetization services in the Mexican market. His leadership in inventory, machinery and equipment, real estate appraisals, and asset disposition is well-known in business, lending, and governmental circles throughout Mexico and Latin America.
Acevedo founded Grupo Acetec in 1992 and by 1995 his company was certified to conduct appraisals for the Mexican government. Over the years, Acevedo has worked with international corporate clients such as Nestle, Procter & Gamble, Square D, Rubbermaid, Adidas, GE Capital, Banamex, and BBVA Bancomer. His firm has also served a host of domestic public companies such as Pemex (oil refining) and CFE (power generation). In 2007, Grupo Acetec became part of Hilco Global. Now known as Hilco Acetec, the company employs more than 55 professionals including appraisers, Auctioneers, and auction services personnel. It maintains five offices located in Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Villahermosa and Irapuato.
Acevedo is a graduate of IPN (Mexico City) in Mechanical Engineering. He received his MBA in Finance and Business Administration from ULSA (Mexico City). He is a ASA and CIME Senior Appraiser and is registered at the Government Agency Indaabin.
