  • Collaborate with HRC team, client personnel, and third-party suppliers to achieve engagement objectives
  • Utilize business, strategic, and analytical skills to perform tasks including key items such as sourcing strategy development; financial modeling and analysis; operational process; organizational design; competitive analysis; etc.
  • Develop content and lead the preparation of high quality, refined reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables
  • Demonstrate the highest degree of professionalism, ethics, quality, and integrity
  • Utilize a pragmatic and hands-on approach to the professional services arena

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Adept at developing and conducting strategic sourcing events (e.g. RFP, Auction, Direct Negotiations), as well as constructing business cases and creating meaningful presentations for all levels of an organization
  • Indirect Procurement experience in several of the following fields: Supply Chain, Marketing, Corporate Services, IT, Building Services, Store Operations. Direct sourcing (e.g. private label) experience, a plus
  • Experience with implementation and optimization of strategic sourcing software, a plus

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or degree equivalent in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA, a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with junior and senior team members, senior management and other stakeholders or professionals
  • Expertise in financial modeling and analysis (particularly in Excel), understanding relevant elements of P&L and scenario analyses
  • Creative thinker with the ability to synthesize both qualitative (‘the art’) and quantitative (‘the science’) inputs
  • Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills with demonstrated experience in solving complex issues
  • Ability to direct and/or manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data
  • Desire and ability to manage processes and other staff
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly
  • High Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • No relocation is required but weekly travel to clients is typical
  • Minimum 1-year experience, within the consumer products, retail, or management consulting industries
  • Knowledge of business intelligence technologies, is a plus
