Opportunity

HCI is seeking an Assistant Vice President level team player who possesses strong and proven analytical skills to identify/qualify business development opportunities and to act as a coordinator in pursuing appraisal, field examination, advisory and liquidation services to both healthy and distressed companies, at the national level.  The successful candidate will be a consummate data analytics professional capable of optimizing the combination of external market research and HCI’s internal proprietary database to identify high potential targets and shepherding Hilco resources across the entire Hilco Global platform to execute on qualified opportunities.

As a Hilco representative, the candidate will never compromise on integrity and must understand the importance of fair dealing, personal responsibility and client loyalty.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data mining and project management (PMP certification preferred but not required).
  • Possesses strong organizational and data analytics skills
  • Ability to capture relevant market data/understand market trends and translate into an actionable plan
  • Expertise in analyzing external market and internal data to determine high potential targets and connection points
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to persuade key internal decision makers
  • Critical listening skills
  • Able to identify all stakeholder needs and reach mutually rewarding solutions
  • Project leadership including the ability to execute plans and complete projects
  • Solid interpersonal and top notch written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, self-motivated with a sense of urgency, drive and ambition to achieve both personal and team goals.
  • Able to work independently and autonomously, but also a team player that is comfortable participating and contributing in a team environment.

 

Responsibilities and Focus

  • Identify current Hilco cross-fertilization relationships and formulate strategies to capture opportunities for all Hilco Global Commercial and Industrial product offerings
  • Work with Senior Hilco BD reps to support the sales process through lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; handover to the operations team; etc.
  • Using advanced data analytics and data mining, pro-actively hunt for high potential target prospects
  • Identify, mobilize and coordinate appropriate internal business development resources to strategically approach target companies
  • Develop effective sales presentations that are continually tested and used in the field
  • Working with cross-functional Hilco teams; coordinate client communication with internal tools such as the corporate website, email, promotional marketing materials, presentations, proprietary CRM, etc.
  • Keep abreast of issues affecting our industry; continuously collect and disseminate market intelligence
