Hilco Industrial Sets Auction Date for Die Casting Equipment at Aiken, SC Plant

Jan 30, 2014

Sale on March 6 Will Feature Late-Model CNC Machines at Harvey Industries, LLC

Northbrook, IL, January 30, 2014: Hilco Industrial will host a public auction to sell the machinery and equipment that is no longer necessary in the continuing operations of Harvey Industries, LLC. The auction will be held on March 6, 2014.

Since 2007, Harvey Industries has produced high-quality aluminum casting and precision machined components for OEMs in the automotive, small engine, appliance, lighting, and industrial machine/controls markets. The company will continue to operate plants in Wabash, IN and Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. However, the recent closure of the Aiken, SC facility presents an exceptional opportunity for companies looking to expand their die casting and machining capabilities.

The impressive array of machinery being offered at the auction includes:

  • Die cast machines – 600 to 1600 ton
  • CNC lathes – as new as 2013
  • CNC vertical machining centers
  • Hydraulic trim presses – as new as 2008
  • Foundry rated CNC robots
  • Aluminum holding / melting furnaces

Interested parties can attend and bid in person at 2063 University Parkway in Aiken, SC or participate remotely via the unique HilCast™ online and phone bidding method. The auction will begin at 10:00 AM ET on Thursday, March 6, 2014. More information about the machinery and the auction can be found at http://www.hilcoind.com.
